Cheese Olive Balls

1 lb sharp cheese, grated
1/8 lb margarine, soft
1 cup flour (or slightly more)
Red pepper to taste
1/4 tbs garlic salt
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 or 2 tbs water
Large jar medium-sized stuffed olives, drained

Grate cheese, let soften. Mix cheese, margarine, flour, seasonings and water. Work into a smooth dough. Use a piece of dough about the size of a walnut and flatten with fingers. Press dough smoothly around each olive. Bake on a greased baking sheet at 350F for 15-20 minutes, or until light brown. Freeze before baking if desired.

Yield: About 6 doz.

Variation: Use dates or pecan halves instead of olives.
