Sweet Potato Casserole 1

1 large can yams
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons melted margarine
Topping:
1/3 cup melted margarine or butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350F. Mash potatoes. Add sugar, butter vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Pour in greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Mix topping ingredients together and place on yams. Bake at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes until to brown and crunchy.

Serves 6.
