Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

6 oz pkg macaroni
1/4 lb Cheddar cheese
1 egg
1 cup evaporated milk
2 tbs sugar
1/2 cup diced bell pepper

Boil macaroni until tender and drain. While macaroni is still hot, cut Cheddar cheese and stir into macaroni until the cheese is melted. Add egg, sugar, bell pepper, evaporated milk, salt and stir well. Pour into well buttered 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350F for about 45 minutes or until top of casserole is slightly brown.
