Apple Pie

8 Tart Apple
2 tbs Lemon Juice
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Allspice
2 tsp Flour
2 tbs Butter
1 Recipe Double Pie Crust

*** Pare and slice apples. Place in bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix brown sugar, spice and flour in another bowl. Add sugar mixture to apples. Toss lightly to coat apples. Prepare a double pie crust recipe. Line 8 or 9 inch pie pan with one crust. Spoon apple mixture into prepared pie crust. Mound apples high in center. Dot with butter. Place second pie crust on top. To seal pie crust together, brush bottom edges with water. Flute sides and cut steam slits on top crust. Bake in 425F oven for 40 minutes or till apples are tender and crust golden brown.
