Utensils: 1 large mixing bowl and 9 x l3 x 2 inch baking pan. Preheat oven 350F.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Add the beaten eggs, salad oil, chopped nuts, chopped apple, and raisins, and almond extract. Mix well. Spread mixture in a greased and floured pan. Bake about 25 minutes. Cool in pan about 15 minutes. After they are cooled, cut into bars and, if desired, roll in confectioner's sugar.
