Peaches and Cream 1

2 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup all-propose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 egg beaten
1 package 3 ounces vanilla pudding
4 cups canned peach slices
8 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar

Utensils: baking pan, 2-quart mixing bowl.

Preheat to 350F. Grease 9 x l3 x 2 inch pan. Combine butter, milk, flour, baking powder, egg and pudding mix. Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased baking dish. Place drained peaches on top of mixture. Whip softened cream cheese and sugar. Drop by the teaspoonful evenly over peaches. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm.

Yield 185 squares. Serves 18
