Mirliton Cake

1 box white cake mix with pudding in it
4 whole eggs
2 cups ripe bananas
1 cup mirliton
1 cup oil
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup mayonnaise
Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350F. To make glaze, blend all ingredients together until smooth.

To make cake:
Blend in large bowl on low speed for 2 minutes the following ingredients: cake mix, eggs, mirliton (chopped fine), 1 cup oil, 1 cup chopped nuts (as you like), mayonnaise, bananas with soda, when you mix the two together. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes with mixer. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350F for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and then remove from pan upside down on cake plate. Cool until barely warm, then glaze. Cool before serving.
