Pavlova

3 egg whites
3 tablespoons cold water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 teaspoons flour
1 teaspoon vinegar

Beat egg whites until stiff; add cold water and beat again. Add sugar very gradually while still beating. Slowly add vinegar, vanilla and flour. Place on greased sheet and bake at 300F for 45 minutes; leave to cool in oven. Whip cream until stiff. Spread an meringue and decorate with fruit.

Servings: 8-10.
