Pineapple Pie Filling

3 heaping tablespoons Pour
2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups milk
3 egg yolks
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
Cooled pie crust brought or home made

Mix flour, sugar add salt together in sauce pan. Beat in egg yolks. Slowly add milk then butter, stirring constantly until boiling. Immediately lower flame and cook until mixture falls from spoon instead of pouring. Stir in crushed pineapple. Cool slightly. Pour into a cooked and cooled pie shell. Serve cooled or cold.

Serves 6-8.
