Blackberry Pie

2-1/2 cups berries
1 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups water

Bring these to a boil for 10 minutes. Add 1/2 cup cornstarch diluted with 3/4 cup water. Pour to cooked berries. Will thicken immediately. Pour in 8 inch baked pie shell. Let cool. Add 6 oz whipped topping. Place in the ice box for 1 hour before serving.

Yields 8 servings.
