Pecan Pie Bars

Crust:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 lb margarine (or 1/2 cup butter)

Mix all ingredients at low speed on mixer. Press into 9x9 inch pan. Bake 12 minutes at 350F.

Topping:
3 eggs
3/4 cup cans syrup
1 cup broken pecans
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs flour

Beat ingredients to blend well. Pour over baked crust. Bake 20-30 minutes until firm in the middle. Cool before cutting into small bars.
