French Onion Soup

3 cups onion rings
2 tbs margarine
4 cups boiling water
4 beef bouillon cubes
Dash red pepper
8 slices bread toasted
Grated Parmesan cheese

Saute onion rings in margarine. Add water bouillon cubes & pepper. Cover; simmer 15 minutes. Spread bread slices with margarine & top each serving of soup with bread; sprinkle with cheese.
