Bacon Chive Rice

3 slices bacon, diced
3 cups cooked rice
1/4 cup chopped chives
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce

In a large skillet cook bacon until crisp. Add rice, chives, and seasonings. Mix well and heat thoroughly.

Makes 6 servings.

Serve with roast beef, broiled steak, broiled liver.

Microwave Method:
Place bacon in a shallow, 1-1/2 quart microwave proof dish. Cover; cook on HIGH (maximum power) 3 to 4 minutes, or until crisp. Add rice, chives, and seasonings. Cover; cook on HIGH A to 5 minutes, or until heated thoroughly.
