Skip-a-Step-Stroganoff

One 6 oz can sliced mushrooms
1 medium onion, sliced
1/3 cup dry sherry or dry white wine
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp instant beef bouillon granules
2 cups cooked beef cut into bite-size strips
1 cup dairy sour cream
2 tsp all-purpose flour
Hot cooked noodles

In saucepan, combine undrained mushrooms and the onion slices; cook covered over low heat for 5 minutes. Add sherry or wine, water, and bouillon granules; stir in meat. Cover; cook for 5 minutes. Combine sour cream and flour. Stir a small amount of the hot mixture into the sour cream; return all to saucepan. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.

Serve over hot cooked noodles.
