Pear Preserves

3 Gallons Cleaned, and Chopped Pears (Coarsely)
10 cups (5 lb) Sugar

*** Cover pears with sugar and cook on low heat until tender. Place in sterilized jars and seal with sterile lids.

Yield: 6 Pint
