Marinated Vegetable Salad 3

- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. pepper
- One 16 oz can French-style green beans, drained
- One 17 oz can English peas, drained
- One 12 oz can shoe peg whole kernel corn, drained
- One 2 oz jar chopped pimento, drained
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Cool. Combine vegetables, and stir in vinegar mixture. Cover and place in refrigerator 12 hours, stirring occasionally.
