Red Sauce

Mexican

2 tbs Flour
2 tbs Olive Oil
4 tbs Chili Powder
3 Dashes Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 Clove Garlic
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Cumin
1 Chopped Onion
2 cups Water

*** Used with beef enchiladas. Heat oil in skillet and sauté onion until tender. Remove from heat and add flour. Mix into a paste adding chili powder, hot sauce, salt, garlic and cumin. Gradually add water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

Yield: For 1 Standard Size Recipe Beef Enchiladas
