Crawfish Pies 5

1/2 lb butter
2 onions chopped
2 bell peppers, chopped
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 pound Velveeta cheese with jalapenos
1/2 can canned milk (Pet milk)
2 pounds crawfish, chopped
Crust:
1/2 lb butter
8 ounces cream cheese
2-1/2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 350F. Saute onions and bell pepper in butter. Add flour. Cook 15 minutes. Add cheese and milk. Cook until cheese melts, stirring often. Add crawfish. Cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat; cool.

Crust:
Mix ingredients, roll thin and refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into small, round shells. Place about 1 tablespoon crawfish mixture into center. Fold over and seal edges. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.

May freeze cookies, then warm in microwave. Serve warm.

Note:
Double crust recipe yields 75 pies.
