Add sugar and salt to the biscuit mix, stir in the milk and melted fat. Add yams. Dust lightly with cinnamon. Cut in round or fancy shapes. Dot each with one half teaspoon of apricot marmalade.
Dot with pineapple or sour cherry preserve, or orange marmalade.
Roll dough to one fourth inch thickness and spread with marmalade or preserves. Dust with cinnamon. Roll as jelly roll, slice round wise and bake in greased baking pan 15 to 20 minutes in 425F oven.
