Cucuzza and Ground Beef

1 lb ground beef
One 15 oz can stewed tomatoes
2 lb cucuzza squash
1/4 tsp salt
1 clove crushed garlic
1 cup cooked onion
1 tbs oil
1/8 tsp red popper
1/2 tbs oregano

Place oil in a large skillet and saute chopped onions. Add ground beef and brown. Season with above. When beat is almost cooked, add stewed tomatoes. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Fold squash into mixture and cook for about 30 minutes or until tender. Serve plain or over spaghetti with Romano cheese.
