Basic Biscuit Recipe

2 cups Sifted All Purpose Flour
4 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Shortening
3/4 cup Milk

*** Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Stir in milk. Turn out on slightly floured board. Knead about 1/2 minute. Roll out 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on baking sheet and bake in 475F oven 12-15 minutes.

Yield: 12-15 Biscuits.
