Mexican Cornbread 4

- 1 cup corn meal
- 3/4 cup flour
- One #303 can cream-style corn
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 6 oz. chopped jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 to 3 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1-1/2 cups Sharp Cheddar cheese
Mix all ingredients well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350F oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool and cut into squares.
