Strawberry Bread 1

3 cups buttermilk biscuit mix
1/2 cup granulated sugar
One 3-ounce package strawberry Jello
Two 10-ounce packages frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and divided
3 eggs
1 cup sifted powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl combine biscuit mix, sugar and Jello. Drain strawberries, reserving 3/4 cup of liquid. Add 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup reserved liquid and eggs to dry mix. Beat at low speed of an electric mixer 30 seconds; increase to high speed and beat 3 minutes longer. Spoon batter into two greased and floured 4 x 8 inch loaf pans. Bake 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove from pans and transfer to a wire rack with waxed paper underneath.

Glaze:
Combine powdered sugar, 1/4 cup reserved liquid and remaining strawberries. Beat, then drizzle over warm bread.
