Banana Bread 2

1 cup sifted all purpose flour
3/4 cup sifted whole-wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 packet butter buds, mixed with 1/4 cup hot water
1/4 cup sugar or 3 packets artificial sweetener
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup mashed bananas

Preheat oven to 350F. In medium size bowl, sift together flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In separate bowl, combine egg, butter buds, sugar. artificial sweetener, vanilla and bananas. Add dry ingredients, mix until moist. Turn into non-stick 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Makes 18 servings.
