Banana Nut Bread 2

1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs
1-1/2 cup mashed bananas (about 3)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped nuts

Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs one at a time while beating. Stir in banana and lemon juice. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add and mix quickly. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 350F.
