Yam Ham Casserole

2 tbs butter or margarine
2 tbs all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 cups diced cooked ham
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 small onion, chopped
One 15-1/2 oz can Bruce's Mashed Yams
Or
One 29 oz can Bruce's Cut Yams drained and mashed
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Melt butter or margarine. Add flour; blend. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring constantly over low heat until thickened. Add bouillon cube and cheese and cook, stirring until cheese melts and bouillon cube is dissolved. Add ham, green pepper and onion; mix well. Turn into 4 greased individual casseroles. Combine yams and nutmeg; mix well. Force yam mixture through pastry bag around ham mixture. Bake in 350F oven 30 minutes.
