*** Cream butter with powdered sugar and add flour. Mix well and spread into a slightly greased oblong baking pan. Bake 15 minutes in 350F oven. In the meantime, mix two tbs of flour with sugar and baking powder. Add lemon juice, grated lemon rind and beaten eggs to flour mixture. Pour mixture on top of baked mixture. Bake for 25 minutes longer in a 350F oven. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Cut into squares when lemon bars are completely cooled.
