Pineapple Frosting

1/3 cup Shortening
2 tbs Corn Syrup
1/4 tsp Salt
3-1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
1/3 cup Crushed Pineapple

*** Mix shortening, corn syrup, salt and 1 cup of powdered sugar. Mix thoroughly till smooth. Frost 2 eight / nine inch layer cakes.

NOTE: You can use either 1/3 cup crushed and undrained pineapple or 1/4 cup pineapple juice.
