Walnut Chip Pound Cake

2 cups Cake Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Powder
12 oz Chocolate Chip
1 cup Shortening
1 cup Sugar
5 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Chopped Walnut

*** Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside. Finely ground chocolate chips in food chopper or food processor (one quick pulse). Cream shortening with sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Beat till creamy. Blend in flour mixture, walnuts and chocolate till smooth. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake in a 300F oven for 90 minutes or until done. Can be served warm with ice cream.
