Preheat oven 350F. Melt butter in heavy 10-inch skillet. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Lay sliced pineapple on top of brown sugar. Set aside. In separate bowl, beat egg yolks. Add sugar and pineapple juice. Sift in flour and baking powder. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour over pineapple. Bake.
