Black Bottom Cake

Bowl #1:
2 large packages cream cheese
2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
Two 12 ounce packages chocolate Chips
Bowl #2:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
2 teaspoons soda
1 teaspoon salt
Bowl #3:
2 cups water
2/3 cup oil
2 teaspoons vinegar
4 teaspoons vanilla

Utensils: 9 x 13 inch glass pan and 3 mixing bowls.

Preheat oven to 350F.

Cream the first 4 ingredients of Bowl 1, then add chocolate chips and set aside. Sift the dry ingredients of Bowl 2 together. Mix the ingredients of Bowl 3, then gradually add the dry ingredients. Pour into greased and floured pan. Drop Bowl 1 mixture by large spoonfuls into cake batter. Sprinkle with slivered almonds and sugar. Bake at 350F for 45-60 minutes.

Serve warm with ice cream or can be served cold, alone.
