Saucy Top Apple Cake

3 eggs
2 cups sauce
1-1/4 cups vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon butter extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 Cups green apples, peeled and chopped
1 cup walnuts, chopped
Saucy Topping:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup milk
1 cup Packed brown sugar
Pinch of salt

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Slowly pour over warm cake (1 only used half of sauce).
