Peach Cobbler 1

1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine (1/4 lb)
3/4 cup milk
1 can peach pie filling
1 cup self-rising flour

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix sugar, milk, melted margarine and flour together. Pour in casserole dish. Use spoon, not mixer. Drop tablespoons full of pie filling on top of mixture. Use the whole can. Bake 45 minutes until top is golden brown. Serve hot. May be topped with vanilla ice cream.

Note:
Cherry or apple pie filling may be substituted for peach.
