Apple Bread Pudding

Pudding:
6 cups bread. cubed
1 cup milk
One 5-ounce can evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon butter flavoring
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
1 can apple pie filling, chopped
2 tablespoons butter Sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring

Preheat oven to 350F. Place bread in mixing bowl with sugar, evaporated milk, milk, eggs, butter, raisins, cinnamon, vanilla and butter flavoring. Mix well. Add 1/2 can apples and nuts. Bake 20-25 minutes or until done.

Sauce:
Cook all ingredients on low heat, stirring until butter and sugar has melted. Gently stir in reserved 1/2 can of chopped apples. Serve a spoonful of sauce on each pudding serving. Serve warm.

Serves 8-10.
