Fig Cobbler

- 1/2 cup mashed figs
- 4 tbs lemon juice
- 1-1/4 cup brown sugar or white
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup Wesson or margarine
- 2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins or pecans
Bake 1 hour at 350F. Can be poured in Bundt pan.
