Fig Pecan Cake

1/2 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup fig preserves
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 cup milk
I cup chopped pecans

Mix all ingredients in respective order. Bake in well-greased bundt pan. Bake at 350F temperature for 1 hour.
