Fresh Apple Cake

3 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1 cup chopped pecans

3 cups fresh apple (peeled & chopped)

2 eggs (well beaten)

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp soda

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp vanilla

1-1/4 cup oil or butter

Sift flour, salt, soda and cinnamon together. Add sugar and mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into ungreased 13x9x2 inch cake pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour.

Serves 12.
