Cake:
Cream sugar, margarine and eggs. Add cocoa, flour and mix well by hand, Add pecans and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured oblong pan. Bake in 350F oven 40 to 45 minutes.
Icing:
While hot, cover cake with marshmallows, let stand about 5 minutes. Pour icing on top and spread. Let cool in pan, then cut into squares.
