Preheat oven to 350F. Prepare cake mix batter according to pkg directions using 2 egg yolks. Pour prepared batter into a well greased 9x13x2 inch baking pan. Set aside. Whip egg whites with salt until stiff.
Gradually fold sifted brown sugar into beaten egg whites. Carefully place drops of egg white mixture over cake batter to cover. Swirl gently to spread frosting over surface of batter.
Arrange pecan halves on top of egg white mixture. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until cake is done. Cool before serving.
