Pralines 9

3 cups sugar
2 cups homogenized whole milk
1/4 lb margarine
3 cups ground pecans

Bring to a boil margarine, milk and sugar in iron pot. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly. Be sure mixture does not stick to pot. On the side, fill a glass measuring cup with cold water, then take a small amount of mixture from pot and drop into cup. If mixture forms a soft ball in cup you may then add pecans to the mixture in the pot. Stir well. Remove from heat. Grease one square cookie sheet with butter. Then pour mixture onto cookie sheet. Let cool for ten minutes. Cut into two inch squares.

Makes approximately 30 pieces.
