Press pastry into a 9 inch tart pan. Top with a piece of foil and uncooked rice or dry beans to prevent bubbles. Bake crust in a 450F oven for 5 minutes. Remove foil and rice. For filling, saute onions and mushrooms in batches in melted butter or oil. Stir in parsley, basil and pepper. Spoon mixture into crust. Reduce oven temperature to 350F degrees. Bake tart for 25 minutes. Cut into wedges.
