Oyster Dressing 2

1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 tsp minced parsley
2 cups bread cubes
1 tsp poultry seasoning, optional
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pt oysters and juice

Cook onion, green pepper and celery in margarine slowly until soft. Add parsley, bread cubes, then oysters (cut in half) and juice. Season and mix well. Makes enough dressing for a four pound chicken.

If preferred, dressing may be placed in greased casserole and baked at 375F for about 45 minutes, or until browned.
