Beef Stew 6

1 small onion
2 pounds stew meat or sirloin
4 carrots or 1 small bag baby carrots
4 medium potatoes
Seasoning to taste or salt and pepper
1 envelope McCormick brown gravy mix or kitchen bouquet if needed to make gravy
Corn starch to thicken

Cut meat in bite sized pieces. Saute onions and meat together until meat and bottom of pan is brown. Add water; season as needed. Add brown gravy mix or Kitchen Bouquet if not dark enough. Cook meat until tender; add carrots until soft, add potatoes, cut in bite sized pieces. Thicken with corn starch to thickness to your liking or you can eat it thin like soup.

Serves 6-8.
