Chicken Stew 1

1 cup flour
1/2 cup oil
1 large onion, cut fine
1 chicken, cut in pieces
1 cup shallots, cut fine

Cook flour in oil, browning as desired. Add onions, then the shallots. Add chicken, Stir 5 minutes. Add water. Cook 1 hour.

Serves 8.
