Lasagna 8

1 lb ground beef
3/4 cup onion, chopped
2 tbs olive oil
1 lb can tomatoes
Two 6 oz cans tomato paste
2 cups water
1 tbs chopped parsley
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 pkg of 8 oz lasagna noodles
1 lb ricotta cheese
8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Lightly brown beef and onion in oil, add tomatoes, paste, water, parsley, salt, sugar, garlic powder, pepper, and oregano. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes. Cook lasagna noodles as directed and drain. In a 13x9x2 inch pan spread about 1 cup of sauce, then alternate layers of lasagna, sauce, ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, ending with sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover with foil and bake at 350F for 4O to 50 minutes.

Makes 8 servings.
