Sweet and Sour Quail

8 quail
1/2 cup dry sherry
1 cup soy sauce
One 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup sugar
1/4 lb of butter

Mix above in saucepan and bring to a boil stirring, until sugar dissolves.

Melt butter in skillet and place 8 split quail breasts up and cook at medium high for 10 minutes with lid on skillet. Pour sauce over quail and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
