Sweet Pepper Relish

12 large sweet green peppers
12 large sweet red peppers
3 large onions

Grind or chop fine. Pour boiling water over this and let stand ten minutes. Drain off all water. Add boiling water to cover and put on stove. When it comes to a boil, remove and let stand ten minutes. Drain dry. Add two pints vinegar, four cups of sugar, three tablespoons salt. Cook 15 minutes after it begins to boil hard. Put in hot jars and seal.
