Broccoli Salad 3

4 cups raw broccoli, chopped
1 medium purple onion, chopped
1/4 cup Spanish salad olives, chopped
1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
8 slices cooked bacon, drained
1/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy Seasoning

Chop the broccoli, onion, olives and hard-boiled egg. Place chopped ingredients in a large mixing bowl with the grated cheese.

Trim fat from bacon that is cooked and drained. Cut bacon into small pieces and toss with the other ingredients.

To make the dressing:
Mix the vinegar and sugar. Stir or shake until dissolved. Add the mayonnaise and Mrs. Dash. Stir until well blended. Pour dressing over broccolli mixture and toss well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Serves 8 to 10.
