Marinated Vegetables

1 can sweet peas
1 or 2 cans button mushrooms
2 cans French style green beans
1 can shoo-peg corn (white)
1 onion shredded (purple)
1 small jar pimientos (chopped)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup oil

Drain well. Heat sugar, vinegar, salt, and oil. Pour over well-drained vegetables. Leave 2 or 3 days in refrigerator. Best when made ahead of time. Serve cold, draining liquid off.

Makes 2-1/2 quarts.
