Spicy Shrimp and Vegetable Stir Fry

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 carrots, peeled and Julienned
- 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped into large chunks
- 1 toe garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili paste with onion (Sabal Bootjack, available in oriental food stores)
- 1 teaspoon teriyaki sauce
- 1 pound deveined shrimp, peeled
- 2 cups cooked rice
Heat oil in wok. Stir-fry carrots, pepper, onion, garlic until onions, are transparent over medium high heat. Add shrimp, teriaki and chili paste, stir-frying until shrimp are pink. Serve over hot rice.
Serves 4.
